
Indiana Collegiate Mathematics Competition (ICMC)
about the ICMC
The Indiana Collegiate Mathematics Competition, often referred to as the ICMC, is a team-based competition for students from area colleges and universities that typically takes place during the spring meeting of the Indiana Section of the MAA. In this competition, students spend two hours working in teams of up to three members to solve a series of questions on a wide range of mathematical topics. The ICMC began in 1966 and is still going strong!
2025 ICMC
The 2025 ICMC took place on Friday, April 4th as part of the Tri-State meeting of the Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky sections. Eighteen teams from Indiana participated, representing eleven institutions. The winning teams were:
1st Place: Rose-Hulman (Nathan Chen, Justin Chan, Zach Whelan)
2nd place: DePauw University (Thao Nguyen, Toan Le, Huy Nguyen)
3rd place: Rose-Hulman (Thor Catteau, Connor Lane, Connor Tasik)
